Behind the name Pro Cinema 6040UB is a 3D-LCD projector by Epson USA, whose main features include 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000000:1 and a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3500 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Distance Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 508 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 339 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 24 decibels. This model dates back to 2016 and is no longer part of Epson USA's current product range.
