The Pro Cinema 1985 is a LCD projector by Epson USA, whose specifications list 4800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 3000 hours before a replacement is necessary. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Looking at practical performance, up to 704 cm can be illuminated with 4800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 469 cm. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2015 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
