Behind the name Pro Cinema LS9600e is a 3D-LCD projector by Epson USA, whose main features include 1300 ANSI lumens and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without digital image artifacts. The Lens Shift Calculator is available for room planning. A look at the light output reveals: The 1300 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 366 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 244 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 19 decibels. Since entering the market in 2014, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
