As a projector, the Epson USA PowerLite 5300 combines LCD technology with a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600, and is additionally specified with 1200 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 350:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. A look at the light output reveals: The 1200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 302 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 201 cm. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from Epson USA's current lineup.
