The PowerLite Home Cinema 8345 model is a LCD projector from Epson USA, intended for Homecinema applications, offering 1800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 25000:1 at HDTV 1920 x 1080. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4000 hours before a replacement is necessary, which amounts to roughly 5.5 years at 2 hours of daily use. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector. The achievable distances are shown in the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 1800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 431 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 287 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 22 decibels. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
