A projector from Epson USA is the PowerLite 1288, whose LED-LCD model delivers 4000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 16000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 5500 hours – mathematically sufficient for 7.5 years based on two hours of use per day. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. Regarding projection size, the value of 4000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 643 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 429 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Since the projector supports Miracast screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device.
