Based on LCD technology, the Epson USA PowerLite 5530U projects images in a Stationary environment, with technical specs listing 5500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 and a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 5000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 5500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 753 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 502 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. The HDBaseT connection particularly shows its strengths in complex installations, enabling long transmission paths with standard CAT cables. Since entering the market in 2016, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
