The Epson USA PowerLite S7 is a LCD projector offering 2300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 4000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. A look at the light output reveals: The 2300 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 418 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 279 cm. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
