The projector Lifestudio Flex Plus by Epson USA utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 1250 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000000:1 at a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. The manufacturer specifies a durability of 20000 hours for the LED light source – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. A look at the light output reveals: The 1250 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 359 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 239 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. Additionally, thanks to Google TV, the model is network-capable and can be used without external playback devices. Integrated voice control via Google Assistant also facilitates menu navigation and content searching. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Since the projector supports Chromecast screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 28 decibels.
