Equipped with LCD technology, the Epson USA PowerLite Home Cinema 705HD offers 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4000 hours before a replacement is necessary, which amounts to roughly 5.5 years at 2 hours of daily use. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Looking at practical performance, up to 508 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 339 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. This model dates back to 2009 and is no longer part of Epson USA's current product range.
