Designed for the Standard-Portabel sector, the PowerLite 2245U model from Epson USA features 4200 ANSI lumens, a native WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution and a contrast ratio of 15000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 5000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. Looking at practical performance, up to 658 cm can be illuminated with 4200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 439 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2017, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
