The projector PowerLite Home Cinema 3500 by Epson USA utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 70000:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 2500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 339 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. Since entering the market in 2014, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
