The PowerLite 7950P model from Epson USA combines LCD technology in the Standard-Portabel sector with 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 700:1 and a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Distance Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 551 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 367 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2005 and is no longer part of Epson USA's current product range.
