The Home Cinema 1440 model from Epson USA combines LCD technology in the Standard-Portabel sector with 4400 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a native WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 3000 hours. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 674 cm can be illuminated with 4400 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 449 cm. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
