Known as the PowerLite L500W, this 3D-Laser-LCD projector by Epson USA features basic specs of 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500000:1 at a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. A look at the light output reveals: The 5000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 718 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 479 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2018 and is no longer part of Epson USA's current product range.
