Behind the name PowerLite 820p is a LCD projector by Epson USA, whose main features include 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 1500 hours. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. A look at the light output reveals: The 2500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 435 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 290 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. The projector was released in 2002 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
