Based on LCD technology, the Epson USA Home Cinema 880 projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 3300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 16000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 6000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 8.2 years based on two hours of use per day. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Regarding projection size, the value of 3300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 584 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 389 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. This model dates back to 2020 and is no longer part of Epson USA's current product range.
