With the PowerLite 505C, Epson USA offers a LCD projector that features 1100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 and a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 1100 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 289 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 193 cm. This model dates back to 2001 and is no longer part of Epson USA's current product range.
