The projector PowerLite 1715C by Epson USA operates as a LCD device with 2700 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 400:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. A look at the light output reveals: The 2700 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 453 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 302 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Since entering the market in 2006, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
