Known as the Powerlite 725W, this LCD projector by Epson USA features basic specs of 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500000:1 at a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 56 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 643 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 429 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. This model dates back to 2021 and is no longer part of Epson USA's current product range.
