Designed for the Short Distance sector, the BrightLink 425Wi model from Epson USA features 2500 ANSI lumens, a native WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast ratio of 3000:1. According to Epson USA, the lamp has a durability of 5000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.8 years. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 96 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Regarding projection size, the value of 2500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 339 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. This model dates back to 2012 and is no longer part of Epson USA's current product range.
