As a projector, the Epson USA PowerLite Home Cinema 725HD combines LCD technology with a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800, and is additionally specified with 2800 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 12000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 4000 hours, which amounts to roughly 5.5 years at 2 hours of daily use. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Regarding projection size, the value of 2800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 538 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 359 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
