The technical data of the Epson USA BrightLink Pro 1470Ui includes 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500000:1 as well as a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 display. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. Looking at practical performance, up to 643 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 429 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Thanks to support for Miracast, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. The projector was released in 2017 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA. However, it remains one of the frequently accessed models in our database.
