The Epson USA PowerLite 530 is a LCD projector offering 3200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 16000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 5000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.8 years. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 110 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 493 cm can be illuminated with 3200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 329 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2014 and is no longer part of Epson USA's current product range.
