As a projector for the Stationary sector, the Epson USA PowerLite 5535U is equipped with 5500 ANSI lumens, a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution and a contrast of 15000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 5000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 6.8 years possible. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Lens Shift Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 5500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 753 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 502 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. A massive advantage for fixed installations is the HDBaseT interface, which transmits video, audio, and control signals losslessly over long cable runs. Since entering the market in 2016, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
