According to Epson USA, the PowerLite 800P model provides 1500 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 400:1 alongside a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1500 hours. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Regarding projection size, the value of 1500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 337 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 225 cm. Since entering the market in 2001, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
