Known as the PowerLite S8+, this LCD projector by Epson USA features basic specs of 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 4000 hours for this projector's lamp, which amounts to roughly 5.5 years at 2 hours of daily use. Looking at practical performance, up to 435 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 290 cm. Since entering the market in 2009, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
