The PowerLite 1940W model from Epson USA combines LCD technology in the Standard-Portabel sector with 4200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and a native WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2500 hours. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 658 cm can be illuminated with 4200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 439 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
