Model Overview

With the Movie Mate 33S, Epson USA offers a LCD projector that features 1200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 and a resolution of WVGA 854 x 480. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours.
For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Lens Shift Calculator.
Looking at practical performance, up to 352 cm can be illuminated with 1200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 235 cm.
The projector was released in 2007 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
