Based on LCD technology, the Epson USA PowerLite 430 device delivers 3000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 3000:1 as a projector. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 4000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 5.5 years. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 110 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 318 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. The projector was released in 2011 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
