Equipped with LCD technology, the Epson USA PowerLite 1222 offers 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 5000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.8 years. Looking at practical performance, up to 477 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 318 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
