As a projector for the Standard-Portabel sector, the Epson USA PowerLite Home Cinema 2000 is equipped with 1800 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 13000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 5000 hours for this projector's lamp – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 431 cm can be illuminated with 1800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 287 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
