As a projector for the Standard-Portabel sector, the Epson USA EX5230 Pro is equipped with 3500 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 10000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 5000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.8 years. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. A look at the light output reveals: The 3500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 343 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
