The hardware properties of the Roadster S+14K J manufactured by Christie include 12500 ANSI lumens, a SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 resolution and a contrast value of 1600:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1000 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 12500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 974 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 649 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2011, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
