Categorized in the Stationary segment, the DLV1400-DX projector from Christie projects with a SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 resolution, alongside 2000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1000 hours for this projector's lamp. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projection Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 389 cm can be illuminated with 2000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 259 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2004 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
