Based on LCD technology, the Christie LW40 projects images in a Stationary environment, with technical specs listing 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 900:1 and a WXGA 1366 x 768 resolution. According to Christie, the lamp has a durability of 1000 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 4000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 643 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 429 cm. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by Christie.
