A projector from Christie is the Mirage S+14K J, whose 3D-Laser-DLP model delivers 12500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 and a contrast of 1600:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1000 hours. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projector Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 12500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 974 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 649 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2011 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie.
