According to Christie, the DS+5K neu model provides 6500 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 2000:1 alongside a SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 resolution. According to Christie, the lamp has a durability of 1500 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 702 cm can be illuminated with 6500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 468 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2004 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range. For your information: Compatible lamps for this device are no longer available in stores.
