As a projector, the Christie DS+10K-M combines DLP technology with a resolution of SXGA+ 1400 x 1050, and is additionally specified with 9300 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 10000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 1500 hours. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Distance Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 9300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 840 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 560 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Since entering the market in 2008, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
