The Christie LWU701i-D is a LCD projector offering 7000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 7000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 850 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 567 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. This model dates back to 2015 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range.
