Equipped with DLP technology, the Christie Inspire DWU860-iS offers 7200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1300000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Distance Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 7200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 862 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 575 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. The HDBaseT connection particularly shows its strengths in complex installations, enabling long transmission paths with standard CAT cables. This model dates back to 2021 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range.
