The equipment of the Christie D20WU-HS projector includes 18500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000000:1 with a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 display. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. A look at the light output reveals: The 18500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1382 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 921 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. Since entering the market in 2018, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
