The projector LU77 by Christie utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 7700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 at a resolution of UXGA 1600 x 1200. According to Christie, the lamp has a durability of 1000 hours. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 7700 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 764 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 509 cm. The projector was released in 2004 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie.
