With the DWX951 Q, Christie offers a DLP projector that features 8500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 and a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 8500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 937 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 625 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. Since entering the market in 2014, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
