Based on DLP technology, the Christie MIRAGE DS+6K-M device delivers 6300 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 and a contrast of 10000:1 as a projector. According to Christie, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 6300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 691 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 461 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. This model dates back to 2008 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range.
