Behind the name Mirage 6000 is a 3D-Laser-DLP projector by Christie, whose main features include 6000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 800:1 and a SXGA 1280 x 1024 resolution. According to Christie, the lamp has a durability of 1000 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 6000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 656 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 437 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. The model is currently no longer actively offered on the market by the manufacturer. For your information: Compatible lamps for this device are no longer available in stores.
