The Christie Boxer 30 HD is a DLP projector offering 29000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1500 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 29000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1730 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 1153 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
