The projector LX50 by Christie utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1200:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1500 hours. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 5000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 616 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 411 cm. Since entering the market in 2005, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
