The basic data of the Christie DWX851 Q includes 7900 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800 as well as a contrast of 2500:1. According to Christie, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projector Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 903 cm can be illuminated with 7900 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 602 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. This model dates back to 2014 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range.
