The equipment of the Christie Mirage S+8K projector includes 8000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1800:1 with a SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 display. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1000 hours for this projector's lamp. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projection Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 8000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 779 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 519 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2004 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
